- Oral cavity: This is the top front area of our mouth that gets affected by head and neck cancer. - Pharynx: A five inches long tube from the nose to the esophagus is known as the pharynx. Cancer may affect all three parts which are upper, middle, and lower. The upper part is known as nasopharynx. The middle part of this tube is known as Oropharynx, and the lower part is known by the name of the hypopharynx.
- Larynx: This is another reason that gets affected by head and neck cancer. This cancer affects our voice box including the vocal cord.
